Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP) and Selected Oral Contraceptives

Our accredited pharmacists are trained to assess whether the ECP is appropriate for you. This is done in a confidential manner. The ECP works best if taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse but may be taken up to 72 hours after. Ask if you qualify for free supply of the ECP.

Our accredited pharmacists are able to prescribe selected oral contraceptives under certain conditions. These include Ethinyloestradiol (35mcg or less) in combination with Levonorgestrel or Norethisterone or Levonorgestrel or Norethisterone or Desogestrol alone.

No appointment is necessary for these services.
