Vaccinations

Our accredited pharmacists are trained to give vaccines. Immunisation is one of the most effective medical interventions to prevent infections and has led to the decline of many serious, potentially lethal, diseases. The vaccines we provide include the Influenza (flu) Vaccine, the Meningococcal Vaccine, the Varicella Zoster (shingles) Vaccine, and the Whooping Cough Vaccine. Charges apply though the flu vaccination is free for people 65 years and older and for pregnant women.

Ask us how we can help keep flu at bay at your workplace next season. We have been operating off-site vaccination clinics to larger businesses as well as vouchers for redeeming at the pharmacy for flu vaccinations.

Appointments are preferred for this service but are not a pre-requisite. Please note that you are required to stay in the pharmacy for 20 minutes post-vaccination to ensure you have not reacted to the vaccine.
